"Mosaic" was commissioned by the Slippery Rock University Flute Ensemble in the Spring of 2023. This piece takes inspiration from various cultures that feature different types of flutes in their music, such as music from the Solomon Islands, China, Armenia, West Java, and more. The intention behind this work is to pay respect and show admiration for music that we may not be exposed to through standard repertoire.
